Our vision since 2005 has been to provide outstanding educational experiences to our preschool students and community. Taylor Learning Center is committed to meeting the current and future needs of our students with developmentally appropriate activities.
Our focus goes beyond the academic to include the social and emotional as well as their physical needs.
Preschool curriculum
TLC’s preschool curriculum meets the individual student at their level and allows them to flourish in a safe and nurturing environment. Our curriculum follows the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards for learning in the areas of language, literacy, mathematics, science, and motor development, supplemented with play-based activities that help children develop and grow at their own pace.
We are located in Toledo, Ohio, near Springfield and Maumee schools. Our students begin attending Kindergarten at many local schools following their preschool education at TLC.

Taylor Learning Center recognizes parents and families as a child’s first and most important teachers and feel collaboration between home and school is vital for children’s success in school.
We offer classes for three- and four-year-old children. These classes are not blended. Our three-year-old class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11:30 and our classes for four-year-olds meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-11:30.
We are a licensed program by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. This licensing component requires inspections by building and fire departments as well as licensing evaluators from Ohio Department of Job and Family.
